My name is Katie VanDyne (she/her). I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages & Linguistics at Truman State University where I teach Spanish and Linguistics courses.
My research is largely focused within the field of theoretical syntax, with overlapping interests in formal semantics, the syntax-semantics interface, morphology, and Romance Linguistics. As an instructor, I enjoy sharing with students my sense of curiosity, humility, and excitement about the complexities surrounding the structure of language.
